Is this Pearl Chang Ling movie also known as Miraculous Flower & also Fury Of The Silver Fox?

Should I get the R1 or R2 DVD?
I would prefer a widescreen version and not fullframe, preferably not dubbed.

No Matching Escort is a different film to Miraculous Flower (Flower also known as Pheonix The Ninja, as well as being the best of the Pearl Cheung films imo). Typically three seem to comprise almost a trilogy together to my mind, unrelated story-wise but consistent her (and other actors, etc.) extremely distinctive involvement, Pearl directing/starring, Wolf Devil Woman, Matching Escort, Miraculous Flower.

Don't know about finding Matching Escort wide, Miraculous Flower you probably could. I'll be the first to stand up and say I hate dubbing, and I mean HATE, in ALL instances, except Pearl Cheung films. Manna.

Ocean Shores has released the trilogy on VCD in HK but only Wolf Devil Woman has an English dub. The other 2 does not have English dub or subtitles. :(

Not an overly impressive film, but worth owning. So that's Pearl Chang Ling is it.

Matching Escourt has been used as an AKA for Mysterious Flower in some books. BTW, she didn't direct all three of those films. There is a widescreen version of Mysterious Flower from a Greek tape. There's also a widescreen version of Matching Escourt floating around among collectors.

There is a French DVD release of Miraculous Flower (as Opération Phoenix Ninja) and it appears to be widescreen (there are some screen captures here (http://www.hkmania.com/from.php?fromurl=http://www.hkmania.com/Dossiers/bachfilms/opephoenix.html)). Unfortunately, I think it may only have French audio though with no subtitles.

It looks like it's still available from marketplace sellers at Amazon.fr (http://www.amazon.fr/Collection-Ninja-Opération-Phoenix/dp/B000A6SZVA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1203462892&sr=8-1). Also the price search page here (http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/6104416/Operation-Phoenix-Ninja-DVD-Zone-2.html) lists a few copies as well.

I'm really hoping that Rarescope will eventually release this since they had a clip of it on one of their recent U.S. releases.
