Well, I was in line with my 2 sons and their friends tonight for the midnite release of SSBB. Ive listened to them for the last 2 years or so goin on about how they couldnt wait to get their hands on it. And finally after all the anticipation, and reserving a copy over a year ago, my boys finally got a copy in their grubby little paws. And we rushed home and popped it in and............ nothing!! "WTF!!" I thought, out loud (accidentally). So we rushed back to the store and got another copy and....same issue, disc will not read. I looked at the disc and noticed it was a gold dual layer disc, while all their other Wii games were single layer silver. So I jumped online and noticed this is only a world wide issue. SSBB is the first dual layer Wii game, thus making it super sensative to dust & debries on the laser lense. So anybody who has had thier Wii for a while will have the same problem. But dont worry, you'll only have to box up your Wii console and mail it off to Nintendo to be repaired so you can play it. Even though it plays every other disc perfectly. And unless your Wii is less than one year old, you will be paying for this service. So, not only did I shell out $60 for the game, but now Ill be paying to have my system repaired so I can play that game. Oh JOY!
