You seriously need to watch those, you're sitting on some prime 70s Japanese crazy goodness there. The fourth film isn't really up to the standard of the first three but then they're completely insane (in a good way of course). I saw the second film at the cinema a couple of years ago, it was so funny seeing the audience's reaction to it and all the WTF moments in it.

I have that magazine too, its really nice even if you can't read Japanese. There's also a great interview with Meiko Kaji in Chris D's Outlaw Masters book.

Here is the synch. I know what you mean at first it is hard to place what came first since two of the films were released within 1972.
There are 6 parts Meiko Kaji 1-4. Yumi Takigawa 5-6. We can trade later if you need 5-6, you definitely have to watch the first one!

Venom10463 actually you are wrong as well but thanks for pointing it out because i was able to find out who actually did play Sasori in Special Cell X part 6.
It's neither Yumi Takigawa (as i thought it was or) Yutaka Kohira (as you mentioned) because that is the director. That actress, turns out it's Yoko Natsuki.

Tokyo Shock has a set with Female Prisoner 701 Scorpion,Scorpion Beast Stable, and Scorpion Grudge Song, but i think Female Convict Scorpion Jailhouse 41 is OOP..

the first 2 are great but Beast Stable and Grudge Song aren't really that great imo

Those Hot Wax books are great. You can order them from Amazon Japan and have them delivered (for a somewhat hefty price (~$30)) to the US. They also have a cool collection of CDs with tracks from those films.
