Naruto Manga

Greetings,

I know that there are a few Naruto fans here. Do you read the Manga? Man, the story is intrigues me to no end. I think that it is essential to read the Manga so that you can fill in the missing pieces of info. that the anime does not provide.

Back to the Manga, chapter 399. Is the info. that Uchiha Madara is providing to Uchiha Sasuke true? Some of it seems very believable. However, I believe that a Uchiha had something to do w/ the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kyuubi) attacking Konoha. Recall that when Team Kakashi finally caught up to Sasuke, Sasuke was able to see the Kyuubi inside of Naruto using his Sharingan. The Kyuubi said to Sasuke something like, "You're just like Uchiha Madara." Obviously, Uchiha Madara & the Kyuubi have met.

I also find it interesting that the anime is no longer following the Manga. It seems that instead of introducing the two new Akatsuki members, they've created a new threat. I think that it's cool. What do you all think?

I am now watching the fan sub Naruto Shippuuden, it is currently airing in Japan, up to episode #58. I haven't watched 58 yet - waiting til the end of the month so I can watch it & 59-61 when they are aired & fan sub. I haven't read the Magna in a while.

Yep, we have episode 58 on the hard drive. My wife puts four episodes on disc. Episode 58 was a double episode. So two more episodes & we'll have another disc.

This week chapter was great. I can't wait until next week to find out the story behind Itachi and the real reason why Madara wants Sasuke. The anime is just about getting on my nerves. The writers are just dragging the storyline, which is pissing everybody off. I have not stopped watching the anime as of yet. I usually wait acouple of months to watch all the ones I missed. The way how the storyline is going... it will take forever before we even see Pain.

This is one of the reasons I stop watching one episode a week & instead start watching a bunch at once. ;)

I think that some of what he said was the true & some of the info. was untrue. I think that Madara is trying to manipulate Sasuke as he tried to manipulate Itachi.

We KNOW that The Nine-Tailed Fox spirit has met Madara in the past. Whether Madara manipulated the Fox to attack the Konoha is not known for sure. Damn, gotta wait until next week.

It's tough to say... on the other hand. Itachi did say Madara was the one who summoned The Nine Tailed Fox to attack Konoha and we saw in his fight against the First Hokage... he can control the Kyuubi. We will just have to wait and see. In my opinion, I think Madara is definitely lying. He wants Sasuke for a reason and he will say just about anything to make him look like a good guy.

Wow! Perhaps Itachi was indeed protecting Konoha from the inside.

I can't stand Sasuke! He is one smug little SOB! Well, I guess that if I had an advanced Sharingan, I'd be smug too. :rolleyes:

I hope that the head hermit toad takes Naruto as a pupil. Seems logical at this point. I dig the way that Naruto is maturing as a ninja. Although he's still very immature. He's going to need some serious development to deal w/ two Uchihas, Madara & Sasuke. Also, I think that Sasuke has some reservations about killing Naruto after his conversation w/ the Kyuubi. Recall that the Kyuubi told Sasuke not to kill Naruto because he would regret it. I don't know what that means. I guess we are soon to find out.

I can't wait to see my two favorite Naruto characters back in action. Lee & Gai!

BTW, have you all seen the Shippuuden movie yet? It contains a drunken Lee scene. Decent movie also, IMO.

OMG! Pein has entered Konoha. Naruto has mastered the sage arts. Kakashi is fighting w/ one of the faces of Pein. And Tsunade is going to call Naruto back to the village.

Man I hope that Killer Bee gets involved in this one. I wouldn't mind seeing Gaara, Temara & Kankuro either.

And where in the hell are my favorite duo? Konoha's Blue & Green Beasts, Maito Gai & Rock Lee! :p And please don't tell me that Lee doesn't stand a chance. You all know that I love to argue. We can go on & on about my favorite character. XD

2: Anyway, I love Naruto. it's a great epic tail with great characters, and the artwork is fantastic. The anime is good as well, though often not very well drawn, plus the fillers were seriously messed up.
I watched Shipuuden till episode 20 or something, but then got bored with it a bit (long Sakura fight) and watched some other shows. Will watch the whole shipuuden series again once I have a decent mediaplayer set up.
