Me, a Chinese Kungfu lover, and now am learning Chinese Kungfu.Recently I have found a very good Chinese kungfu learning site, on it there are tens of thousands of video teaching programs with detailed English explanation. But not a free site, charging $1999, then you can enjoy it all the time. Is the price OK?

Um, no.
Alot of these sites scam people for their money, and there's a huge possibility they don't even teach proper kung fu. Furthermore, learning from videos, pictures and text can be rather limiting and quite time demanding. Plus you won't get any personal feedback on your progress. If you really want to learn proper kung fu effectively, I suggest you find a teacher or an established school.
Don't waste your money and time on this.

My own personal experience with learning martial arts is extremely limited (so limited it almost doesn't count - I didn't study very long, was a lousy student, y'know...), but I'd never try to learn such a thing from video. And I'd definitely not pay such amounts of money for it. Not a good way to spend 1999 bucks.
As Endsang wrote, feedback and personal guidance from a teacher are quite important.
I guess you may learn something from a video/manual, but if you're serious about it, I guess you should go for the "real thing".

When I fisrt see it, felt not valueable. However,in order to learn kungfu in short time, I spent $1 999 for it.
Probably a first visit inside the video content, and feel better, detailed explanation. In the past few days I have started a study with video,Over time I look at the effects of studying,At that time we chat about that.

Then why ask us for advice..?
Anyway, good luck with it. Hopefully you'll get something out of it, but I still consider it a rather bad deal, no matter how good the program is. You should also keep in mind that kung fu is not learnt in short time, and the term itself describes something you've spent time mastering. It might give you some insight, but will only scratch the surface of the martial world. There are several styles that people spend 10-30 years mastering. Watching a video and imitating what you see wouldn't really be anymore than dance choreography, for instandce. There are several more aspects to learning kung fu, such as internal exercises with proper breathing and muscle tension. I'm also assuming they don't teach the morals and ethics of martial arts in depth either. Kung fu also trains the mind!
But hey, your money and your life. :)

You need a good teacher to guide you on the finer points etc, video / dvd is fine as a back up and cross reference and i have used them occasionally.
Bought some good reasonably priced Shaolin instructional dvd's from here:
