Are you talking about embedding a youtube video in your signature? When you say resize, do you mean compressing the video down? Can you even resize the embedded video?

Yes you can resize an embedded video - change the width & height to the desired size you want. It is just like resizing a video on myspace.

I just did a test - the resizing didn't work when posted it.
BUT I copied the same code & tried it on my MySpace - it worked on MySpace - I did shrink the youtube video to 1/3 it original size.
It worked on MySpace but not here.
Let me try something else.
Edit
I think that any youtube video posted - even if you resize it would reverse by default to the youtube/original size(W - 425, H - 355), I think the mods/editors have it that way so people will not abuse that priviledge by posting larger than normal videos.
That is something that Mr. Pollard will have to look at in the future - allowing people to post downsized videos.
It would be cool to use GIF images & short clips in your signature.

Normally, you could just change the sizes of the video in the embedded code. That's how all Flash media works in HTML. However, I've disabled HTML coding on the forums, including signatures, so you won't be able to post full viral video code. It needs to stay that way so we don't have the problem that Myspace has of people posting malicious or just plain obnoxious code.
The youtube tags probably work but they will leave the video at the default size and that wouldn't be appropriate. My suggestion is to post a simple link to your video.

Look, man, you're already abusing the links privilege with the Gary Coleman vid... Why should everyone on the site have to see youtube videos spammed all over the threads, no matter what the size?
This ain't the place, IMO - have some respect for your host.

I can respect that point i was only asking. honestly mr. pollard is my hero haha. no seriously, he's always open minded always willing to hear what you have
to say and also he's objective as opposed to allowing personal motives to run his decisions (ahem). he tells it like it is as he did here when i had a question.
do you think he needed your help? Uh nope but help yourself bro. look at it this way maybe sometimes things happen for other reasons... Why dont you
watch that Gary Coleman video like 10 times in a row maybe you could end up laughing at the whole thing like everyone else.
who else was laughing?
