Region-Free Dvd players

Does anyone here have the Pioneer Elite? Wondering how it is - it got good reviews.

8 threads down in the other Region 3 DVD Player thread there's some good suggestions.

Good DVD Player - BUT - for about $200 less you can a a dvd player with the same features.

Philips 5990/37 - cost about $60-$80 - has all the features of that Pioneer - Upscaling, DiVX, USB inputs, etc.
philips 5982/37 - same as above - only difference is USB 1.1
Toshiba SD 3990 - about $50-$60 - region free, plays DivX but no upscaling.
Cyberhome DVD-655 about $60 - Fregion Free, DivX, Upscaling.

This is Just a start -there are more.

That price for the mentioned Pioneer should be used to buy a Blu-ray player.
