I really enjoyed this movie but I think the staring role should have been Lo Leih for sure....Chuen Yuen has a really bad screen presence IMO!!! but I suppose Shih Szu made of for his terrible acting :)
See Trailer..

Anyone with a view on this?

Decent enough basher that tends to drag in places only picking up the pace when gore is splashed across the screen. I remember seeing it on the Black Belt Feature years ago.

I think this is a Korean co-production but can't find any evidence.

I quite enjoy this for the gore and Shih szu. The lead actor isn't too awful but his rugged Eastwood look doesn't match his mild performance
Lo Lieh

I thought this was a decent enough film. I never thought of it before but Lo Lieh would have been perfect for this role. It almost could have been a sequel to King Boxer somehow??

It's on their release schedule along with Seeding of a Ghost and Corpse Mania at the end of the year.

I prefer Chuan Yuan to Chao Hsiung anytime.

Neither of them are leading man material.
Chao is a good villain.
