Snake Fist Fighter - new widescreen dvd?

Was in HMV the other day and the new Film 2000 release for this version of Master With Cracked Fingers. Packaging claimed widescreen. Is this true - Film 2000's simultaneous release of Ninja Strikes Back claims full screen when we know it to be widescreen

I thought Master with Cracked Fingers/Snake Fist Fighter and Cub Tiger from Kwangtung were all one and the same film except for different edits/titles?
If so that'll mean all versions will be available in the uk?

The older UK DVD from Prism was the Dick Randall version of MWCF. Vidasia's two editions, a widescreen export English version, and a full screen Chinese version with different ending, show two different cuts of the reissue yet to be seen in the UK legit

I noticed it on play.com with 2:35:1 anamorphic.

Did Dick Randall come up with the whole MOCF concept and from there, we got the export English version that played as 'Snake Fist Fighter' in the US, 'Master With Cracked Fingers' in the UK and the Chinese version as... well 'Master With Cracked Fingers'.

The credits on the Video Asia DVD looked different compared to the shitty Prism DVD.

Wow, didn't realise there were so many different versions. I only have the Prism disc but been debating on getting the Cub Tiger one.

Cub Tiger is the original film from 1973, while Master/Snake Fist used (I believe) the middle part of Cub Tiger and edited in all the other footage (Simon Yuen/blindfolded Jackie double fighting Kwan Young Moon etc).
