Horse Boxing Killer - Any DVD That Works?

I saw a whole bunch of Video Asia stuff for cheap at Walmart recently. Yeah, I know, we should be supporting George Tan. I figure if I like the films, I'll look for better legit copies. Otherwise, I'm buying some of the DVDs for the english language tracks, like Dance of The Drunken Mantis.

So, I've tried my second copy of Horse Boxing Killer/Against Rascals With Kung Fu, and HBK doesn't play. I've tried it on two different DVD players, with no result.

Did anyone else try buying this DVD and got the film to work? I just wanna know if it's an authoring problem, or if it's just a bad batch that I am working my way through.

VA used cheap mastering and media for their releases. I heard a LOT of people had problems with this disc and many of their others.
