Lo Wei's Goodyear Movie Co

Trying to figure out the origin of this company.

It produced The Fearless Hyena in 1979 so I assumed it was a HK company.

But I see many of their subsequent films (ie. A Heroic Fight) were shot in Taiwan.

The company logo doesn't give any identifier and the HKFA can't make up their mind... so anyone know...?

South Korea? Lol, where'd that come from??

I know that none of Lo Wei's companies were Korean, and of all the films he and Jackie made in Korea this wasn't one of them.

Goodyear also produced The Loot and The Rebelious Reign. Another pair of HK movies.

It's possible that Lo took his company to Taiwan to film a couple of movies - The Heroic Fight has virtually an all Taiwanese cast and crew except Yuen Cheung Yan.

Cinema City (HK) did the same thing with A Book of Heroes and a couple of those John Woo comedies.
