Anyone here have any comments on Burning of the Red Lotus Monastery with Pearl Cheung? I don't think she directed it, so I take it that this is a more 'serious' film than say, Wolf Devil Woman or Matching Escort. Also, has it ever been released on DVD or VCD? - I'd really like to track down a copy...

no comedy massive cast chi kwan chun, meng fei, lung fei ect, film was so so IMO

intentional that is. It's among the crazier of her films actually. People floating on clouds, lazers, etc. I agree so so, but a must if you're a Pearl fan.

Been looking for this one for a while, based on the cast alone. Surprised someone else mentioned it at the same time. Any collectors have a decent print? Here is a link that shows the cast as they appear in the film. Chi Kwan Chun is almost unrecognizeable as a fox type of character.

I'd really like to get a copy of this - I imagine the chances are slim that we'll ever see it on DVD (although Vengeance/Rarescope appear to have some of Pearl Cheung's other films - maybe they have this as well).
