For those who can work with Japanese characters, please can you try to find the following movies at the Japanese Movie Database? (http://www.jmdb.ne.jp)

Aikido Story (http://www.rarekungfumovies.com/titles/title2347.html) Starring Sonny Chiba.
13 Style Maki (http://www.rarekungfumovies.com/titles/title2238.html) starring Sue Shiomi.
The Bodyguard (http://www.rarekungfumovies.com/titles/title2269.html) starring Sonny Chiba.
Blind Woman's Curse (http://www.rarekungfumovies.com/titles/title2137.html)
Lone Wolf And Cub TV series (http://www.rarekungfumovies.com/titles/title2303.html)

I can't find the Lone Wolf And Cub TV series or Master Of Thunder (its not on Chiba's filmography) in there.

Excellent! I didn't realise KFF had Jap cinema experts resident; I guess this message board has upgraded lately--all the more reason to post here. TBH, I never expected to get any help with this. Much obliged, pal! Thanks for that. :)

lol, I'm not really an expert. I got a bit bored a couple of years ago and figured learning Japanese would give me something to exercise my brain. Turned out to be a lot mroe complicated than I thought. So that and knowing most of the movies and having a nice online dictionary handy means I can work some of those out. Its like having some really weird homework to do. :nerd:

I don't think jmdb has been updated for new movies since the 2005 or so...
for example, "Azumi 2: Death or Love" is not in there

Falkor: JMDB is much more accurate than the
US database
in terms of correct info, years, actors etc. And if they want to find TV
series, they'll have
to us the Japanese TV Database, which is absolutely awesome.
