Anybody In US buy from Amazon UK?

Just wondering if anybody in the US has ever bought from Amazon UK? I dont even know if they ship/sell to the US. If so, how much they charge for shipping? Any info is appreciated, thanks!

I bought all my Master of Cinema discs from Amazon UK. The service is just as excellent as its US counterpart. There is no free worldwide shipping, standard shipping is about 2 weeks at max. My package was failed to deliver once (out of 20+ transactions).
An incentive to buy from amazon uk: about 80% of their r2 dvd's are cheaper than HKflix.

Never had a problem. All of my transactions were amazon marketplace uk sellers. One was selling on amazon uk but based in Germany. Never had a problem getting orders or with speed.
Was a good place to get some HKL discs at good prices. Note, not all sellers will ship to the US though.

So what would you say was your average (standard) cost of shipping per disc from Amazon UK?

I'm in the US and I've had good experiences with Amazon UK as well. I've gotten a few HKL dvds from them, as well as the R2 Hard Target (roughly 3 more minutes of violent footage than the US R-rated dvd). shipping is usually very quick (usually got my stuff within 5-6 business days), and I'd say the average shipping cost per disc was about $5.30, but sometimes it varies.

me and morgoth buy stuff from there and recommend each other flicks but i haven't had time to get on da net much da last couple months.. think shippin is like 1.99-2.30 ish from most sellers

Agree with most comments. Amazon.uk is very reliable and they have a good selection of R2 PAL discs, and good prices. I always check the exchange rate at xe.com and compare that to HKFlix. Usually the price is better at amazon.uk, but after you pay shipping, it ends up being close to HKFlix, but you can get free shipping from HKFlix. It just just depends on what you're looking for and you have to compare. Shipping from amazon.uk ranges from $3-$5 which I think is a bargain for oversees shipping.

Agreed on all fronts with Amazon.uk

I've also purchased a lot from Amazon Japan (amazon.co.jp). Your login and password is universal and will work on that site as well. There is also a button that translates a majority of the pages into English.

Shipping is quite a lot (3600 yen for 2 books and a cd), but the stuff they have is fantastic.

I am certainly not proficient in Japanese and I was able to find my way around the site and check out pretty easily. Recommended!
