Anyone got these yet?

Official release is on 20th (UK)/21st (USA) October but early copies are filtering out.

The US releases have original mono tracks but are region-coded A.

Fox bastards!! XD

Apparently the UK/European releases are region-free (!) but are missing the mono and contain remixes only.

Fox bastards!! XD

I say apparently because no UK reviews yet despite the fact that we're only a couple of days away from in-store dates.

There are a handful of reviews of the US releases and they sound excellent. No good to me obviously.......... :S

Seems some of the errors on the DVD editions have been corrected due to new masters having been created but no in-depth coverage yet.

Would be cool if they'd restored the missing for 45 years cut footage from Dr. No and From Russia With Love.

Guess a lossless HD-DTS track is much more important..........

.

Are you talking about the UK release prints? I've been seeing these films regularly in the U.S. for 43 of those 45 years, in one format or another, and I've never heard of cut footage on the U.S. side. Can you elaborate?

Yes, the footage cut before the UK releases.

If Lowry were working from the camera negative (as they claim) you'd think that would be a complete source?

But the company must've made the censor cuts direct the negative?

Bah.

I would like to see the early bond films on blu-ray, i really like the Roger Moore ones, i would also like the more modern Pierce Brosnan ones on blu-ray, they are my favorites. I havent seen the Sean Connery ones....I really should.

^^^ not all of them are being released it looks like :(
Only two roger moore films and one bronsnan one, 'Die another Day' - which is the worst one!
The ones i would want released are 'Moonraker', 'The Spy Who loved me', 'Goldeneye', 'Tommorow never dies' and 'The world is not enough'

They're being released in batches.

Checked the UK packaging today. Confirmed NO mono.
