advertisementIn the last Big Boss (A.K.A.:Fists Of Fury), Cheng Chao-On was arrested after killing Hsiao Mi, "The Big Boss". In this sequel, his brother, Cheng Chao-Chun (Lo Lieh), visits his brother in Thailand. He then finds a job as an ice factory worker at the same ice factory that his brother worked at. While the previous film never explained why Chao An promised never to fight again, it was actually due to the fact that their father was killed in a fight. However, the villain in this film is the man who was responsible for their father's death to begin with.

The only thing I have seen of this is a trailer.
I heard at one point rarescope were going to release this, but a deal with someone out in taiwan fell through.
Something like that anyway.
Good luck tracking this down.

Someone must have it I'm sure. Toby or Clive perhaps.
I bet Falkor can track it down. He's good at that.

Looks interesting. Doesn't look like one of Chan Wai Man's better performances, but Lo Lieh looks good, and that music is pretty sweet.

Since this appears to be on some home video label, has anyone managed to find (or create) the DVD yet?

I spoke to someone yesterday who lives in Bosnia-Herzagovina and they were telling me the full storyline to it as they say their father has seen it.
I'm always sceptical when hearing this kind of information but it all made clear sense.
It goes as follows:
Bruce Le plays Cheng Chao-an from the first film, but he is now imprisoned dues to the events of the first film so his brother Cheng Chao-? (Can't remember the last bit) played by Lo Lieh comes to work at the ice factory which now has a new boss. The new boss is the man that killed Cheng Chao-an and Cheng Chao-? father, which is apparently why Bruce couldn't fight in the first film as his father was killed in a fight.
Apparently it had a cinema run out there and was mildly popular.
Take it or leave it, thats what I've been told.

The Dragon Lee film is a World War II era setting, and is actually called Dragon Lee Fights Again. Its Big Boss II title seems to come from the UK video
