The original theatrical cut runs 98:36 (24fps) and the re-edited DVD version 91:34 (NTSC).
That leaves a discrepancy of 7:02.
The Japanese DVD includes as an extra five scenes/snippets missing from the feature.
1. Original credits sequence (the DVD uses a new font and moves the dir's credit to before the title)
2. Extended sex scene between Leslie Cheung and Cecilia Yip and a rear view of Pat Ha (probably a double) in the shower (+1:00).
3. Extended sex scene on the bus. (+0:31)
4. More of Cecilia Yip and Ken Tong learning Japanese on the patio (0:22)
5. A additional shot of the Japanese Red Army woman* slicing through the pillow with her sword (+0:01).
That all accounts for a mere 1:54 secs of footage.

The second half of the scene in cafe is present but like some of the above scenes it's been shortened and moved to a different place.
Thus the short print isn't just cut it's rearranged (but by whom?)
That scene bumps the extra footage up past 5:00 but that leaves roughly 2:00 unaccounted for?
Have I missed anything?
