Hey guys,
Micah Moore (”Dogs of Chinatown”) has finished the teaser for the hip-hop chase and fight caper “Beat Down Boogie.” “Beat Down Boogie” features “Lawrence Young (Law)” from “Contour” played by me (Eric Jacobus), with appearances by Emmanuel Manzanares and Shawn Bernal of Lazy Brown Productions, and Matt Sumner and Brian Lee from “Dogs of Chinatown.” Enjoy the teaser by clicking below (HD available).

are there any updates on this film?
edit: I just read on the mega trailer thread they have run out of funding. I really hope they manage to make this film coz it looks like going to be lots of fun to watch.

Hey, Eric! Some interesting stuff there. Your movies may lack insane stuntwork of HK or Thai productions, but overall, arguably, more enjoyable than 95% of MA crap that's on the screen nowadays. I like your choreo a lot, always great to watch( although sometimes you get carried away with camerawork, IMO) and, I gotta say, despite the fact that you guys are not good at acting( doesn't bother me, though), the dialogues are really funny. You guys are the closest thing to HK modern action( I mean, the 80s) - and you're doing it on a tiny budget!
Real delight to watch!

This film looks really good, I loved Contour and Dogs Of Chinatown. This looks like it could be better than those 2, really hope you get some funding.

I dont know I saw it at a indie film festival. You should probably check the Stunt People site, but buy it if you can it's well worth it.
