I saw this series premiere a few weeks ago on the CW 4Kids on Saturdays. I finally got around to watching it this past Saturday.

It's a US/Japan co-production with Steve Wang (Drive) as executive producer/writer/director of the series.

It stars Stephen Lunsford as Kit, a young man who is trying to find his missing father. When Kit learns that there is a possibility of creatures from another dimension, who in turn, may be responsible for his father's disappearance, he meets Len, a futuristic warrior who has the power to become Kamen Rider: Wing Knight. Kit soon becomes Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight. Together, Kit and Len must take on these monsters in hopes to find Kit's father and save Earth before it's too late.

Playing Len is XMA (Xtreme Martial Arts) expert Matt "The Champ" Mullins, who recently starred in Bloodfist 2050. Handling the stunts is Alpha Stunts, who are working as well on the Super Sentai series and their Power Ranger counterparts, headed by Koichi Sakamoto.

Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight is on CW 4 Kids Saturdays at 11:30am Eastern.

I'm really liking it thus far! Despite the very odd scenes in the last episodes.

I'm hoping for more original fights, original as in made for this series not just scenes from the original.

The ones they had on the second before last episode were actually pretty neat, but the ones from the latest had very weird camera work. And the fact that Mullins used more or less a ?wooden? ?very small poll/ stick used for window blinds? to fight off two massive spears was... not visually pleasing.

Yeah it's sad considering that Alpha Stunts are the guys who are handling the fight sequences for the show.

I did like Mullins' demo in an episode a few weeks ago. Showing some forms with a staff then an empty handed form.

Well The show is heating up! and The fights have gotten a bit better! But on a better note I just watched the first episode of Kamen Rider Decade and it was AWESOME!

I saw it on a saturday morning a few weeks ago and was surprised at how good the FX were. For a kids-based live action "cheesy" Power Rangers type show, they've come a long way.

Not suprised of how well this is, the men behind this show Steve Wang and Mike Wang are huge fans of live action Japanese supehero shows like Kamen Rider and Ultraman, and let's not forget Steve directed the Guyver movies (first one not so great, second pretty cool), the low budget and yet kickass Mark Dacascos actioner Drive and the independent kung fu spoof, Kung Fu Rascals.

Yeah sad to see this series get cancelled before the final 2 episodes aired. I guess we'll have to see them online.

Yet it was cool seeing Mark Dacascos play Advent Master Eubulon, who recruits bookstore owner/ally Maya as the new Kamen Rider Siren.
