KUNG FU BOB

Hey Guys and Gals, this started out as just a Christmas sale, but I've decided to keep these prices indefinitely for people that order them through the forum. ;)

These pieces were all hand-drawn. I don't use computers or anything. Besides the Venoms prints, I'll add pics of a few others pieces I'm selling. The same prices apply for all the prints.

All prints are created on professional quality 11x17, heavy card-stock, acid and lignen free, glossy paper.

$13.00 each. With Free Shipping!

$11.50 each if you buy 3 prints! With Free Shipping! (This saves you $4.50)

$11.00 each if you buy the whole set of 6! With Free Shipping! (This saves you $12.00!

All prints will be signed, sent via "Priority Mail", and shipped rolled, in a heavy-duty, protective cardboard tube.

Payments must be PayPal only. Even if you don't have a PayPal account, you know a friend that does. My buddy helped me out whenever I wanted something from eBay for years. I gave him the cash, and he would buy the item for me with his PayPal account. Plus, it's easy to get an account started, and a safe way to transfer money.

Please pm me to order. :D

Pictured: These are the 6 individual FIVE VENOM's prints in the order they were designed to be arranged in. Individual shots of these, plus other prints can be seen in the next post!

I recently purchased quite a few of these from Bob and am very happy with them. I need to take the 6 venom posters to get matted together to hang on the wall somehow. I also love the Lone Wolf and Cub on the Assassin's road!
Thanks for the deal Bob!

I really love your LW&C posters. Ive been gearing up to redecorate my "man cave" with some movie/genre posters. The only posters I have found is the "Shogun Assassin" ones, but I prefer your style. Even my wife (the decorating pro) really likes them. I just wish the prints were a bit larger. But they would be a bit cheaper to fame! You'll be hearing from me in the very near future

No, thankyou! They are just what I was looking for to spruce up the man cave. And keep them coming, especially the one we talked about (put me on the waiting list)! Love the Chiba print, any hope in another one? Maybe him as Jubei Yagu ...... no I got it..... the end scene in "Makai Tensho" when he squares off against Wakayama while being surrounded by fire (one of my favorite movie moments of all time)??!! Ok, now Im rambling.... ;) Ill let you know when I get them.

I'm an artist myself and I just wanted to say that I think your work is excellent. Those venom posters are really nice. Are you working in acrylic? Just curious.

KUNG FU BOB
03-07-2009, 02:38 PM
Hey Silver Fox, thanks for the compliment. :D

The Venom's art was done primarily with ink and markers on water color paper. I used just a bit of acrylic for maybe 1-2%, as strictly a touch-up medium. Once you screw up with markers, it's your only decent option. :)

I'd love to see some of your art. I'm going to start a new thread, just for people to show their work. I hope you'll post some of yours.

Well, I came across this forum in a search for Venoms related material. I didn't need to register to see any of the images in this thread or any of the others.
I registered so I could send Kung Fu Bob a PM to inquire about his art. I bumped the thread because his art is pretty sick.

I apologize you the multiple posts. I would edit my initial response to Neo, but I don't have the ability to edit my post for some reason.

I was wrong, I wasn't able to view the images in the thread. I did in fact register in order to do a search to find Venoms related material since this site came up in a search on google. That was how I came across this specific thread. Again, sorry for the error and multiple posts.

No problem brother. It would be different if you posted multiple times because you just had to keep ranting about how much my art sucks! XD

And as Teako said- welcome to the forum. I hope after you get some prints you won't disappear though. It's a great place to have fun, meet friends, and learn cool tidbits.

that centipede poster is awesome..as he in movie displays amazing speed, that multihand drawing really displays his character well.

Thanks! This was the one I was most excited (and nervous) about drawing. I kept thinking of all the different, cool looking hand positions that I had to choose from, and wasn't sure what to do. When I first thought of the multi-arm idea, I thought it would work, but then I started worrying it would look hokey. Normally I don't sketch most of my art before I jump into it, only if it's something I have to show a client first. But for the Centipede I decided to do an initial, quick sketch. I thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing the Centipede's humble beginnings. ;)

The last Venom piece is finally available for sale. After many delays (including being without my digital camera for a few months) I can now post the Yang De (Chiang Sheng), 6th student "variant" art.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are two versions of this piece. Originally, I was going to have this piece include Yang De, the Five Venoms logo, and a few supporting characters. But after sketching it out, I decided that the character deserves his own print. He shouldn't just be relegated to a side note, and crammed into a collage picture, so I changed my original concept. I decided not to include the 'Five Venoms' logo, nor the supporting characters. Yang De was sort of the lead, so I felt he deserved a drawing all his own like the other Venoms, unencumbered by extraneous images. But a lot of people still wanted it with the stuff it was originally going to have. So, I did create this 2nd version of the Yang De art.

These pieces were all hand-drawn. I don't use computers or anything.

PayPal is the prefered payment method. Even if you don't have a PayPal account, you probably know a friend that does. My buddy helped me out whenever I wanted something from eBay for years. I gave him the cash, and he would buy the item for me with his PayPal account. Plus, it's easy to get an account started, and a safe way to transfer money.

If you can't use PayPal, please contact me to discuss other options.

I recently received the 7 'Five Venom' artwork prints from Bob, and I must say, they look even better in person than viewing these images online. The quality of the prints is Grade A. Not to mention the artwork itself, SUPERB! Bob, I thank you for your tremendous artwork and offering these to your fellow Fu Fans and not keeping these all for yourself. A recommended purchase for any Kung Fu fan. I look forward to any new Fu related artwork you may be working on in the future. Keep up the good work Bob.

:D Thanks for the picture! It's always great seeing my art hanging up in other people's places. I once had an eBay customer send me a message saying "I was on holiday in Europe, and went with my relatives to a local video store. Above the counter I saw all these amazing framed drawings of Ogami Itto, Sonny Chiba, and the Five Venoms. I asked the store owner where he got them, and he actually brought up your eBay stuff on his computer to show me. I jotted down the info, and ordered them as soon as I returned to the states. I thought it was funny that I should discover your art so far away in such a random way, when we only live a few states away." ;)

I'm also working on a big, cool new project/business venture with a fellow forum member. I will share details about it soon!

As for the VENOM PRINTS, I've kept the sale going- you can't get these for any cheaper than you can here on this site.

The entire 6 piece Venoms set is available for only $49.99!

I will also add the 6th Student "variant" to make it a 7 print Collector's Set for only $54.99!

All prints will be signed, sent via "Priority Mail", and shipped rolled, in a heavy-duty, protective cardboard tube.

I wanted to bump this thread as I'm having a bit of a "Fix The Hole In The Roof" drive! LOL The last few storms were not kind to my humble abode, so I'm trying to scrape together some extra cash.

All of the prints are $7.00 each.

See PHOTOS of prints on the first page of this thread.

The 6 piece FIVE VENOMS set is available for only $49.99!

And for anyone that buys the whole set, I will also include the 6th Student "variant" print for FREE to make it a complete 7 print Collector's Set!

In addition, I will allow a 7th FREE print (of your choice) for anybody buying any 6 of my prints.

Shipping is FREE.

All prints will be signed, sent via "Priority Mail" for domestic orders, and "1st Class Air" for international orders, and shipped rolled, in a heavy-duty, protective cardboard tube.

Payments must be PayPal only. Even if you don't have a PayPal account, you surely know a friend that does. My buddy helped me out whenever I wanted something from eBay for years. I do work as an artist, but I also have a "reliable" job too. I rarely get time to do art as a hobby anymore. But when I do, it's usually genre stuff. :nerd:

These were all done on watercolor paper using a bit of pen, but primarily marker, and a dab or two of acrylic paints. The origials are all done in the same size as the prints- 11x17.

Yeah, I hate doing the photos like that, but...

Your welcome KFB.

I had longed to be an artist since I was 8 years old when I had a spiritual experience as a young catholic.I saw a drawing done by a school chums older brother where he showed Jesus in a dungeon prison waiting for the cross. This really put me in tears and from that day on art and more art and all through high school thats all I cared about.

But as fortune would have it an artist I never became in the traditional sense.

My art became a 25 year adventure unlocking a hidden geometric code found in the classic Chinese yin-yang symbol. On part of these discovery's I was awarded a US Patent in 1998. It was only at the end of 2010 that the last sacred geometry tie-ins to the yin-yang symbol were found. Send me your email in a PM if you wish and I will send you one of my more spectacular images called the 'Radiant Aura Diagram' a mystic cross of unparalleled beauty coming out of the yin-yang symbol. I think you would find it most interesting.

GOLDEN DRAGON YIN-YANG you have inspired me and yet enlightened me,.. bringing me back to when i was a kid of 9 years of age at my cousins house , when i stumble upon the rubotic interlacing ,.. UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF THE RUBIX CUBE.
this was a long forgotten art of a six sided cubafix,.. which "I" was able to connect the secrets. (unfortunatly it was already patented)
but for the life of me, this memory has been long locked away till now.

so thank you

I just received my Yang De "variant art" print and it looks awesome framed on my wall. I chose the design because I like the "Five Venoms" logo and the supporting characters.
Bob's artwork for the custom dvd projects should be blown up into full size movie posters - wouldn't that be sweet?
I'm hoping for a Hwang Jang Lee poster, and an Alexander Fu Sheng poster (maybe with Chen Kuan-Tai?) to be available.
The 70's style artwork for action movies is so much better than what the studios put out today. Plenty of awesome examples in the book "What It Is...What It Was!"
Thanks Bob, everyone who has seen the poster has been very impressed!

This is actually what I'm finishing up right now! Hope to have it ready by the weekend. :nerd:

One of my favorite books! Highly recommended to everyone that's a fan of '70s cinema, especially the "Blaxploitatio" genre. Loaded with full color poster reproductions. Plus, the text is great too.

Thanks Bob, everyone who has seen the poster has been very impressed!

My pleasure bro. Please direct all interested parties my way!
