View Full Version : WANTED: "Island on Fire" Uncut Taiwan VCD/DVD

Hi
I am looking for the VCD or DVD of the uncut Taiwanese version of "Island of Fire" (a.k.a. The Burning Island) with Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Wang Yu etc.

This has gone mostly out of print the places I've checked (unless somebody knows a store I can get it from)

Otherwise, if anybody's got a copy they would consider parting with, I'm interested. I don't have anything to trade, can only offer payment via Paypal or International Money order. I am based in Australia.

got one cheap off ebay like 4.99 i still haven't opened mine yet.

I guess that could be the US dub? Or one of the cut cantonese/mandarin releases

no i mean the taiwan disk, i also grabbed beheaded 1000 it was pretty recent too. i'm sure there is more.

it`s a real shame HKL when released this included those cut/deleted scenes as separate viewing.Full lenght feature is really good.

Agreed. I've actually thought about doing my own little reconstruction job- putting the deleted scenes back in. :nerd:

Anyone got any suggestions how to search for the Taiwanese version of this film? i've tried searching for whatever is available under "island of fire", and also "the burning island", which is how yesasia listed the Taiwanese version of the film on their site..

Also for anybody who stops by the thread.. one other Wang Yu item I'm after.. a copy of "Requital" if anyone's got an original they would consider parting with..

Thanks, please, would love to get a original copy of it, whatever format, and if it had english subtitles also that would be even better
