Fairchild TV is playing On The Waterfront

No, not the Marlon Brando film! Just from watching the opening credits, I can see some of the main actors include Bruce Liang, Norman Tsui, Michelle Lai, and Eddie Ko. I'm not sure when this series was made, but I'm guessing late 70s or very early 80s. Fairchild TV is playing it on Sundays at 1:15pm starting today.

It was a minor wuxia tv series production by Hongkong ATV in 1980.

the original Chinese title is Hu Hai Zheng Ba Lu or literally means "Records of Mighty Ocean & Lake Disputes"

I never knew the English title is "On the Waterfront"

Thanks for the information regarding the year it was shown. I wasn't able to find it on the internet.

The version shown on Fairchild TV has the name 'On The Waterfront' printed on the screen at the very beginning. It looks like something that an old video machine put on, rather than something done recently, so I think its an alternate title for it from way back when.
