I watched this Indonesian Bruceploitation flick yesterday and have to say it is one of the grittier and more raw kung fu/martial arts films I've seen. It's closer to older Tony Jaa stuff than other Bruceploitation films in my view.
This is one of those where the fights include anything they find on the ground including logs, oars, shovels, metal poles, and etc. Nunchuku and tonfas are seen and the head bad guy has some sort of extendable blade as well. Of course, this leads to some over the top deaths. There's also a full scale catfight.
As for Steve Lee, he had all the Bruce mannerisms down pat and used a variety of styles (to simulate JKD?). One fight, he wrapped his foe up in a leglock and in another, he went into crane stance for a few seconds. Lastly, the soundtrack was mostly 70's synth. I'll upload the trailer and maybe the intro onto Youtube probably this weekend.
