Look for ones that mention PAL/NTSC conversion in the features, they're usually hackable (Most cheapies are the converting type, even if they don't say so on the box). Or, just jot down the model numbers of the ones available at your local store, and search those models. A list of 'all' players would rather long.
Nowadays all-region DVD players are quite cheap...but if you see other players which you are interested in look them up on the internet to read reviews and see if it's any good, and also to see whether you can make it region free.
that's what i did with the DVD player my brother got

Hey Silverhermit I find this site to be very helpful. Find the cheaper players at your area stores and before you buy them check this site to see if they can be hacked. My last player cost $50 took 2 seconds to hack and plays anything.

silver hermit, you're not alone...my all region player died a few months ago. I had it for about 6 years. I only had 3 titles that would work on there, 2 Shaw Brothers DVDs and a Thai PAL DVD. When the time comes, I plan to get another one.

I agree with venomsfreak - go the vcdhelp and look for hacks. Nowadays you can hack even Hi-End players, let alone cheaper models

I think it would probaly be best looking for a multi-regional dvd player than finding one to hack. Thats what Im going to do, I live in the UK with Region 2 DVDs but at the moment I watching Region 1 dvd's on my pc.

I live in the US I've never had a problem finding a DVD player to hack. All the ones I've bought haven't cost more than $50. Whereas I've looked up Multiregion players and they're usually $100 or more.

I've got so many hacked dvd players in my house, I don't even know where to begin to count. They're all cheapies. The one that I couldn't hack is my high end Panasonic which is about 10 years old. I wouldn't get too worked up over trying to find a hackable player. If you're lucky, it'll already be all region right out of the box.
