Hey bro, I think that's from INVINCIBLE SHAOLIN isn't it? I can picture the sifu eating meat, and the student (who I'm pretty sure was Lo Meng) staring at his dish with envy. He looks down at his heaping plate of eggs and asks "Eggs again?" His teacher says they can't go to waste- you broke them, you eat them.

Its funny how a specific thing sticks out in your head.

That sequence was the only one I could recall from Invincible Shaolin for many years.
It wasn't until around '99/2000, when I got back into these films, that I rediscovered this film -
and it was due solely because I could only recall some "guy" eating eggs!

I told Lo Mang that tale and gave him a b/t/s photo from that sequence and he loved it.

that is so true teak. honestly that is how i remember most of the films from samurai sunday. since alot of movies have alternate titles, and since i would always come in about a half hour in the film, it was hard to catch the title sometimes

and lo meng is seriously the man.
