Check out this amazing remix album of Youtube musicians. It was put together by an Israeli musical artist named Kutiman. It's the best remixing I've heard in years and could revolutionize the way that music is made on the internet. I highly recommend listening/watching to all of the tracks.

I suppose that's one way to look at it. I see it as an art project, a way to reinterpret what others have done. Artists working in other mediums do this all the time. Personally, had I been one of the many musicians featured I would have been flattered, especially because few of them appear to be professionals.

hmmm, stealing others music to create new music is quite unoriginal, cheap, and insults the musicians original works.

Yeah, but the only thing is... that's how it's been done for thousands of years, how do you think Michael Jackson got his sound? Take the r and b from the 50's - 60's, then mixed in British pop = Thriller;)

Besides he didn't ripoff anyone, as everyone playing was in the video, he just took a bunch of people that were playing in the same key and somewhat tempo(I'm wondering if he had to tweek this) and mixed it together, the end result was pretty cool:)

Was there anything else to that link? I couldn't get anything to open.
