Okay so I have a movie I ripped on my computer a while back. I did it so I could find subtitles to put with it. It is cut into two parts and I have a subtitle track that is cut into two parts too.
My question is, how do I burn the two parts of the movie and the two parts of the subtitles together so that it will play continuously(no gaps)?
Thanks for any help, and keep the explanations pretty simple.
Try forum.videohelp.com, you will find all the explanations you need if you search and ask there.
Alternatively, you can use a program like virtualdub to join the movie together and you should just be able to edit the text file and add the additional subs if you don't need to edit the times.

As Asmo said just join the Avi file & then join the sub file.
VirtualDub will do the trick for the Avi files.
For Joining subfiles - I usually used Subtitle workshop - (Under tools - just click join subtitle & choose the 2 subfiles & save w/new name-simple).
It can be tricky to edit the timings though.

Just open up the edit mode and drag all the clips into the same timeline and it should show up as one chapter. Most burner programs do this.
