Cultural question...
I've been seeing the same gesture, or variations of it, in a lot of movies. Basically, it's a right fist held in front of the chest, with the left hand either flat palmed against it, fingers vertical, or wrapped over the right fist. Sometimes this is held out and shook, sometimes it's bowed over.
Are there any specific meanings attached to the variations, or are they all a generic salute?
