Trying to track down this title for years...

I've been trying to find this movie for a long time. I remember it was on Sat afternoon Kung Fu theatre.

From what I remember there was a scene where these guys were fighting on a beach or some kind of mountainous terrain and they were throwing around these huge weapons that were like throwing stars except they were ridiculously big.

That's the scene that really stands out-pretty vague I know,but if anybody can help it would be appreciated.

I've been trying to find out the title of a movie that I saw in the mid 80s. The only thing I can remember about it was at the end two guys were fighting outdoors and one of the guys pulls a rope from the ground and uncovers a bamboo spike pit where the other guy falls in. Maybe someone recalls that scene. I would greatly appreciate anyone giving me the name of that movie.

i saw that movie just a few years ago only because i was curious about that strange contraption; surreal it was indeed.
