View Full Version : Where do you buy your DVDs?

I have several retailers that I buy my DVDs from that I know and trust, but I would like to know where you buy your DVDs. Here's who I primarily buy from:

HKFlix.com (Honolulu, HI, ship from CA)
I check their website practically everyday to see what's new and what's coming out. This is where I learned about DVD regions, region-free DVD players, and where I've bought most of my DVDs and my DVD players. Despite much trashing on this Forum, IMO think HKFlix.com is one of the best websites for marial art DVDs. Their account system is incredible. This is where I keep my wish list. I compare all other sites to HKFlix. They also have a "forum" called HKFlix Interact where you can start or post a comment about a particular DVD. Other good things: free shipping above $49 and they give you 2% back on your purchase in store credit. Sometimes they run a 10% special, so if you order $100, you'll get $10 credited to your account. That adds up after awhile:)

Yesasia.com (Hong Kong)
I think yesasia is an OK site, but you have to be careful and know what you're looking for. They now have a North American site that you must order from if you're in North America. Free shipping at $39.

DVDAsian.com (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
I like this site, but their prices are usually a little higher. They have a huge selection and they will ship any disc to you if they have it in stock. They have free shipping on just 3 discs or more, no matter the price. So, that's a good deal.

DDDHouse.com (Hong Kong)
I think this is an excellent site, also. Huge selection of SB and most everything else. They're prices are very low as the USD is strong against the HKD, but they don't have free shipping. So, I usually buy from them when their price + shipping is lower than someone else and/or they have an OOP disc in stock.

amazon.com
amazon.co.uk
The UK site is excellent for HKL and other R2 PAL discs. They will also display USD along with GBP so you know what your spending without having to go to another currency converter site.

sensasian.com (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Haven't ordered much from them, but I'll check them if I'm looking for something in particular that could be OOP. Thier site is somewhat "clunky". They have free shipping at $30, but all discs in the order must be from the same shipping origin. That is, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, etc.

Play-asia.com (Hong Kong)
I discoverd this site because I found the Japanese uncut versions of the KILL BILL Vol 1-2. I check them if I'm looking for something specific. Their prices are reasonable, but no free shipping.

Chaos.com (Australia)
This is an excellent site for HKL discs. They are distributed through Magna Pacific. I bought the OOP WAY OF THE DRAGON 2-disc Platinum version from them. They still have a lot of HKL discs! No free shipping. Their prices are in Australian dollars (AUD), but again the USD is strong against it. Make sure you have XE.com open to do the currency conversion.

Thanks! :)

I primarily use:
Buyoyo.com
DDDhouse.com (One thing I found cool about these guys, I had ordered a vcd of a Legendary Collection title and they upgraded it to the dvd release of it, for free as the dvd was released soon after I placed my order).

I've also purchased from sensasian, DVDAsian and Play-Asia. However if I'm looking for dvd's that I can get locally I generally use ebay, or visit a chain that stocks the title in question. If I'm after a single disc that might be a US release, I'll generally use ebay. I'm also ordering from a store I've never tried before, if the transaction is good I'll report on it.

DDDHouse...Excellent, friendly and cheap.
Play.com....For most R2 Dvds
CDWOW.....Not as good as before but still worth checking out.
HK Flix....Good layout website but never use them because they sell and promote bootleg discs openly.
Ebay....Can find some cheap gems but have to be careful of bootlegs

i purchase many of my region 2 and 3 DVDs (and the occasional region A Blu-ray) from yesasia.com, play-asia.com and cdjapan.co.jp. i no longer shop at hkflix.com because a few of my purchases from them were bootlegs / pirated copies. i'm greatly adverse to financially supporting piracy.

I mainly use Yesasia.com and Amazon.co.uk. Once in a while I'll use ebay and afew other sites if I can't find the titles anywhere else. If I'm passing by retailers in the high street I'll always look about for anything on sale. I do also go to a filmfair and buy cheap titles there.

I use to order from pokerindustries.com (initially). sensasian.com I had a bad experience with. HKflix is a really good source IMO. fivestarlaser was a pretty good site for IVLs. I haven't ordered from them for a while.

As I haven't actually bought any discs besides Region 1, I get most things at Best Buy (Reward Zone member), a few at Wal-Mart, Target, Circuit City (before they went under,), Barnes & Noble, Borders and various used places: FYE/Suncoast, CD Warehouse, pawn shops, and so on.

For online shopping, I generally prefer Deep Discount, for the great prices and free shipping. I also have gone to Amazon (and Amazon.ca for a few things), DVDPlanet, or generally whatever online store might have the lowest price/or an OOP still in stock, if they are reputable.

I used to buy like crazy from the above mentioned websites, but slowed down during the last few years. I've also bought from various European locations to get rare widescreen or films that included the old school english dubs that weren't on Region 1 or 3 DVD versions of the same films.

DDDhouse-prices are much cheaper than hkflix and yesasia, and the fastest shipping among standard ones.So this is my favourite store.

It's not necessary but I'll vouch for DDDHouse. My last order left HK on a Saturday and got to me in Australia by the Tuesday. They also upgraded a vcd that I had ordered to the dvd version (as it came out shortly after I placed the order).

1) YesAsia and Five Star Laser for on-line shopping for imported dvds

2) DVD Planet for R1 releases

3) Best Buy for R1's I missed on-line

4) HKFlix if they have something the others don't

HKFlix.com (USA) (by using the links from kungfucinema.com, that helps support the site!)
Yesasia.com (HK)
DDDhouse.com (HK) (Celestial Shaws)
DVDAsian.com (USA) (Celestial Shaws)
Amazon.co.uk (UK)
Amazon.co.jp (Japan)
Amazon.com (USA)
Chaos.com (Australia) (HKL discs)

HMV.com (UK)
Pokerindustries.com (USA)
Bestbuy.com (USA)
BN.com (Barnes-Noble) (USA)
DVDPlanet.com (USA)
AnimEigo.com (USA) (they have good sales sometimes)
Fivestarlaser.com (Celestial Shaws)
Fareastflix.com (USA)(They sell DVD-R's as "Custom DVDs". Use with caution. I bought Zatoichi 14 from them, which was very good. But I also bought Lady Constables which sucked)

Feel free to also suggest sites to stay away from. One site that comes to mind:
Kungfumovies.net (USA) (I will say that this is the only site where I found FIST OF LEGEND Uncut version by Ritek. It is listed as "FIST OF LEGEND - CHINESE"

Thanks for the list WuxiaFan!! I had never heard of Hongkong-store.com and now that I have a region free player I've been trying to get my grubby hands on some HKL discs.

I just hope they will still be in stock when the US dollar exchange rate is a little better.

For HKL discs, recommend you check chaos.com and amazon.co.uk first. Those sites will be cheaper and chaos.com has a bigger selection. Hongkong-store is very pricey, so I would only use them for something you can't find anywhere else, such as DREADNAUGHT.

Sounds like a plan. I already have a wish list at Amazon.co.uk it's just waiting for money.....I hate waiting. :p

Hey everyone...
Forgive me if this subject has been raised, if not, I'd like to start a thread on various sites, and their reliability, when it comes to ordering. Please post answers, and any experiences, good or bad, from places where you've ordered Fu Flicks.

To kick it off:
DDD House. I ordered from them for the first time today, and I was wondering, for anyone who has used them previously, how long did an item take to ship from there (HK), to the States? Secondly, how did you find their service/products? Lastly, will you use them again in the future?

I figure we can keep this going about the sites people here have used, as comments can be quite helpful for those not in-the-know.
Thanks in advance for any positive input.

I live in the New England area and usually takes about 7 days on average to receive my order from DDD. I always use them for all my Hong Kong DVD's especially Shaw Brothers flicks. I would say their service is good.

I've used HKFlix as well... Started off with them when I first began using the net... Their site has improved tremendously, although lots of titles have since gone oop.
I simply want to branch out toward places that may offer competitive bargains/titles/offers at times, and still provide quality service.

Hey Dragon -
 Thanks for resurrecting my thread! That's exactly what I wanted to do with this topic! I have compiled a list below of online retailers that are reputable and good:

HKFlix.com (USA) (by using the links from kungfucinema.com, that helps support the site!)
Yesasia.com (HK)
Shaw.intercontinental.com.hk (official site for IVL/Celestial Shaws - they have ALL Shaw DVDs released by IVL/Celestial)
DDDHouse.com (HK) (Celestial Shaws)
DVDAsian.com (USA) (Celestial Shaws)
Deepdiscount.com(USA)
Amazon.co.uk (UK)
Amazon.co.jp (Japan)
Amazon.com (USA)
Chaos.com (Australia) (HKL discs)
Sensasian.com (Malaysia)
Buyoyo.com (HK)
Play-Asia.com (HK)
Play.com (UK)
CDWOW.com (UK)
HMV.com (UK)
Pokerindustries.com (USA)
Bestbuy.com (USA)
BN.com (Barnes-Noble) (USA)
DVDPlanet.com (USA)
AnimEigo.com (USA) (they have good sales sometimes)
Fivestarlaser.com (Celestial Shaws)
Olivefilms.com(good selection of cult cinema)
Boulevardmovies.com(good selection of cult cinema)
Samuraidvd.com(Custom subbed Japanese DVDs - large selection, but pricey)
Fareastflix.com (USA)(They sell DVD-R's as "Custom DVDs". Use with caution. I bought Zatoichi 14 from them which was very good. But I also bought Lady Constables which sucked)

Sites not recommended::ooh:
Kungfumovies.net (USA)
Hongkong-store.com (UK) - I bought HKL DREADNAUGHT from them earlier this year and it was not new when I got it - it was not shrinkwrapped and there were scratches on the back of the disc. The DVD played fine, but I emailed them and described what I received and they refunded my credit card! So, use them with caution!

Dragon -
To answer your question about DDDHouse.com - IMO, I think they're VERY GOOD! They have a large catalog with a lot of SB and Fortune Star releases. They're prices are good as the USD is strong against the HKD. However, DDDHouse does not have free shipping, so you have to figure that into your total cost when comparing to other sites. Shipping from HK to USA typically takes a couple of weeks (for me that is). They have good communication. That is, you'll get an order confirmation email and an email when your order ships. Also, you can cancel all or part of your order via email as long as it has not shipped yet. For their products, they don't describe the discs as well as HKFlix does for example, so you have to know what your ordering. They package their DVDs very well. Only on a recent order did the actual DVD case come damaged. However, I would fault the type of DVD case it was, not DDDHouse. YES, I am a regular customer of DDDHouse!

My "mainstream" flicks I pick up Walmart, and they occassionally have a new Kung Fu release like Dragon Dynasty's Fist of Legend or 5 Venoms. Everything else I get on Ebay, but occassionally I'll add some movies to my queue if I'm placing an order on Amazon.

i also bought from amazon.com, yesasia.com, and picked up a few from target and walmart.

ethaicd.com (Thailand)
Used them off and on for years with no problem, but since most Thai dvds (of Thai movies) are being released with out English subs, not so much any more.

devoteddvd.com (Australia)
Used them for years with no problems, their prices are usually pretty good too. Don't usually use them for asian films (I did pick up Man From Hong Kong from them).

cdjapan.com (Japan)
Expensive, yes, but if you're looking for a English friendly Japanese site...(this has been mentioned already, but isn't in the list). Used them off and on for years, never had any problems.

koreapop.com (Korea)
Again, expensive, but they've got a fairly deep catalog (only place I've found that still sells the R3 (Korean) limited edition Wonderful Days or AAchi & SSipak, for instance). Have only used them once (Wonderful Days LE), but they delivered..

Speaking of Buyoyo, they used to mail from Hong Kong, but the last couple of shipments I've received (in the last few months) have originated from Singapore. Their website doesn't make any mention of the Singapore location. Their HK mailing address on the boxes is even covered with a Singapore return address. Is that a good sign? I haven't had any reliability issues, I just find it odd they make no mention of this new shipping location.

At least you got your copy! I ordered Dreadnaught (and the Sammo Hung book) from them last year. I emailed them a few times to ask about my order. They said they'd send it soon. I never got it, and every other time I tried to email them about a refund or my items they ignored me. That's my experience with them, I'd agree with you. Use them with caution!

From the US: Amazon.com I love Amazon prime and their prices are usually the best.
From Japan: Amazon Japan, good pre-order and regular discounts offsetting the shipping costs.
From the UK: Amazon UK, but I've only used them once or twice, still I got the Red Cliff two movie Blu-ray for 19 USD shipped!
From Hong Kong: I use HKflix, but also DDDhouse and Buyoyo. However, I live near NYC's Chinatown so I really don't need to get HK stuff from abroad anymore (at least new movies). I really recommend Buyoyo if you are order a bunch of titles, as it offsets the shipping cost for courier.

Yes.When something sounds too good to be true it usually is that.I have not taken look to their website for long time but when in past ordered from then..uhm there was maybe 5 titles they did not have in stock. At least Secret Service of IC and and I think Assassin were among those.

For the past two years I've been buying my DVDs online from Amazon and hkflix with no problems. I used to buy lots of IVL Shaw VCDs online from Sun Entertainment until it changed its website to Gundam-only stuff. The Sun Entertainment storefront in SF Chinatown still has Shaw VCDs/DVDs in stock. Before the website changed, it included lobbycard with photo and synopsis for each IVL DVD.

As for Buyoyo, check http://www.kungfucinema.com/forums/showthread.php?p=122528 for Daigoro's warning from 2 days ago.

Agree, but still recommend using a reputable retailer that you trust. HKFlix is under new management and I've not been too hot on them anymore. They raised their free shipping threshold from $49 to $75 which is ridiculous! Plus, they don't answer emails anymore, which is just poor customer service. If they can't answer a question I have about a disc, I'm surely not going to order from them. They also got out of the hardware business which is disappointing, as I felt they were a leader in promoting and selling the best universal DVD players. :ooh:

Items that I have ordered from hongkongstore have come not shrink-wrapped and even scratched and in a "used" like quality. Fortunately, the disc that I ordered played fine and nobody else had it, so I didn't press them on it. However, when I ordered the HKL version of DREADNAUGHT, it appeared to be a used disc. So, I wrote them a scathing email and they refunded my credit card! So, if there's something you're interested in, I would email them first to make sure it's new and sealed and then place the order. You'll then have a contact that you can go back to if there's a problem. But be aware of other member's experiences with them. :ooh:

They are...think he's just got them mixed up with some other company

Tai Seng used to be run horribly and offered sub-standard products. During the days of VHS, they would charge up to $90 for poor-quality tapes (my TS tape of High Risk starts out with a blue screen with "REC" in the corner) and would strong-arm brick and mortar stores into selling their product, even when there were better and cheaper alternatives available.

In the early days of DVD, they imported a lot of the generic Mega Star/Mei Ah DVDs that cost $10-20 at retail, slap one of their stickers on it to claim it was "their" version (yet would do nothing to address the terrible subtitles and sound mixes that were on many of these discs) and then charge a high markup, often driving the price to $40-50.

From what I understand, they have been under different ownership for the past several years. At any rate, the quality of their releases has improved substantially. They primarily still just import Hong Kong company's DVDs, but keep the prices reasonable, and if they do release their own version of a movie, there's more attention paid to the transfer and extras.

Are all releases from Panmedia/Ground Zero/Bonsai bootlegs?
Yes. PM/Bonsai/Ground Zero, whatever they fuckin' call their enterprise, they're just the biggest bunch of parasites in this game and ought to be boycotted by anyone who genuinely cares about the future viability of legitimate quality DVD releases for a niche market such as ours.
For instance, I saw some Panmedia releases on HKFlix.com (one of your recommended sites).
Yes, it is a sad fact that HKFlix does sell the gutter-quality stuff that Panmedia/Ground Zero/Bonsai is shitting out. Apparently they justify it with the "demand" that exists for it. Even though they nowadays have at least the decency to warn customers that they will not be reimbursed if those DVDs don't work properly, admitting in effect the God-awful quality of those boots.
I'm new to this and am just trying to understand.
You're adressing a very serious problem here. A lot of people, good friends of mine included, who are getting into KF films buy boots. Sometimes because they're the cheapest option and they just don't give a monkey's. But more often because they simply can't tell the difference between a legit and a pirated release. So forums such as this should try to make an effort again & again to point these out.

I agree with Sheng's answers to your questions below. Let me add a few things as well. The retailers on my "recommended" list are legit retailers, however they may sell boots along with legitmate, licensed versions. HKFlix is a perfect example of that. So, knowing which DVDs are boots and which ones are legit just comes with learning about the genre and reading KFC FORUMS. There are countless threads on the topic.

Most legit retailers will post the "studio" or "distributor" of the DVD you're looking at. HKFlix uses "distributor", DDDHouse uses "studio", and Yesasia uses "publisher." The site you asked about below along with my "non-recommended" sites DON'T publish a distributor/studio/publisher because its a piece-of-shit boot and there isn't one. So, you'll have to learn who the legit distributor/studio/publishers are and you'll learn that by reading the Forums here. You'll often read people here referring to the "HKL version of ____" or the "IVL version of ____" or the "Criterion version of ____". That's how a lot of DVDs are referred by, so you'll need to learn the lingo around here. To try to make it easy for you, here are some of the most common legitimate distributors/studios/publishers:

-Celestial Pictures (production company that owns the Shaw Bros library)
-IVL (Intercontinental Video Limited, distributor of Celestial Pictures)
-Delta Mac (HK)
-Delta Mac (Taiwan) - distributor of Celestial Pictures)
-Fortune Star (production company, HK)
-Joy Sales (distributor for Fortune Star, HK)
-Dragon Dynasty
-Tokyo Shock
-Well Go USA
-Zoke Culture
-Mei Ah
-Hong Kong Legends (UK, out of business)
-Edko Video (HK)
-20th Century Fox
-Sony Pictures Classics
-Universe Laser (HK)
-Universal Pictures (USA and UK)
-Eastern Eye (Austrailia)
-Keris Video (Malaysia)
-Ikano Film (Malaysia)
-Magnolia Home Entertainment
-Optimum Asia (UK)
-Cine Asia (UK)
-Eureka Entertainment (UK)
-Tartan Video (UK)
-Criterion (USA)
-BCI Eclipse (out of business)
-AnimEigo
-Synapse Films
-Diskotek Media
-Panik House
-Wellspring
-Panorama Entertainment (JP)
-Shochiku Co (JP)
-Home Vision Entertainment/Image Entertainment
-Media Blasters

You'll also get to know cover art as well. At the website you asked about, all of the DVDs there have the same cover art as the Panmedia discs at HKFlix. You'll also be able to tell by the title of the DVD. For example, there's FIVE ELEMENT NINJAS which is the actual (English) name of the movie. Panmedia titles it "Chinese Super Ninjas" and has different cover art. There's losts of "AKAs" and that's something you'll learn the longer you're into the genre.

One final "given" is that in order to enjoy legitmate versions of movies from all over the world, you'll need to have a good quality true universal DVD/BR player. That's so you can be free to buy any DVD/BR version from anywhere in the world and not worry about region encoding and PAL/NTSC formatting.

IMO, Oppo Digital made the best DVD players on the market. They have the best upconversion technology and the best PAL/NTSC conversion. IMO, no other player matches their quality. See Secrets of Home Theater HiFi.com for reviews of Oppo players, both DVD and BR players.

Their DVD players are all of production, but you can still get decent used machines on ebay. If you're going this route, go with the Oppo DV983H. IMO, the 983 is THE BEST DVD player ever produced - better than Denon, Pioneer, and anything else. Again, see the Secrets Benchmark review - it's the only player to ever get a perfect score on that test. Here's the Benchmark review by Secrets:

Just took a quick browse around their website. They are out of Beijing and it appears to be a legitimate site. They have a lot of Chinese cultural DVDs, but the also have some Chinese TV shows on DVDs. Their film DVDs are Chinese R6 by distributor Beauty, which is a legitimate distributor. Thanks for providing the site, but I would rather wait until someone orders from them and shares thier experience first before I add them to either list.

They have some very obscure titles. I just ordered Can Yue (http://www.cnemay.com/can-yue-chinese-movie-dvd-english-subtitle-p-605.html) - a movie director Lu Chuan doesn't even take credit for. There is some confusion about whether the dvd really has english subtitles, despite what the box claims.

I'll review my purchase when it arrives.

I usually buy my DVD's from Amazon if I can find it. If it's an Asian movie then I sometimes drive down to Five Star Laser to see if they have it in stock and they usually do. If I'm really desperate then I'll try eBay but I'm very weary of the DVD's being boots. I used to buy from HKFlix but apparently they're no longer in business.

I just purchased from minhtan.com and it only took four days to get here.
My dvd is exactly the one I ordered, and arrived in great shape and plays beautifully.
Thanks for sharing their site with us.

Placed my first order. They wrote back a few days later and refunded my Paypal because they couldn't acquire the item.

Ordered a couple other titles. They arrived today after 3 and a half weeks, shipped from Singapore, nice packaging, basically like any good eBay seller. I'd recommend this seller for their good selection of Red and (very old) black-and-white movies.

http://www.cnemay.com/

I'm watching one of them now... "Chinese Policewoman". It's like the "Inspector Wear Skirts" movies except it's serious and very bad acting. :smile2:

I wish the mods would make WuxiaFan's post a sticky. That's a fantastic listing.

Back Sept. or Oct. 2010, Karlos got burned by some site he ordered from and asked about interest in a list such as this.

I used the site listed below back in Nov. 2010. They have a decent selection and good prices and I got my dvds in 7 days flat.

See my answer about DVDAsian in your other thread. DVDAsian is a good retailer to order from.

I don't have Asianjunction.com on my recommended list as they are the online store for Red Sun / Panmedia / Bonzai Media. You'll notice all of their DVDs are NTSC R0 and they do not list a studio or distributor. I would also caution you in that they use cheap, low quality DVD media. I would recommend that you make a backup copy to a quality DVD.

HOWEVER, based on my experience guided by my knowledge, if there is an OOP title you're looking for and NOBODY else has it, it is likely asianjunction.com may have it. Then, and only then, would I recommend them. I have ordered some titles from them before and they are trustworthy with processing and shipping your order fast and not charging you until they ship your order.

The website is very cluncky and not well organized. They are out of Hong Kong and offer a 30-day return policy. Their SB listings seem to be the IVL discs and they list IVL as the distributor/studio. However, I would email them about the titles you want and see what kind of response you get and how long it takes them to respond. If you decide to order from them, IVL Shaws came shrinked wrapped inside the slip cover. If you get a non-shrink wrapped DVD, it's likely a boot. Before ordering from them, I would check the other sites on my recommeneded list first. Just a suggestion...

IVL stopped producing slip covers several years ago. None of the later batches had slip covers. I don't know if the further pressings of the old releases (which originally had it) retained the covers.

As for what is a boot, the region code is a pretty good indication. I can't imagine why anyone would produce region coded boots.

That is an awesome post and exactly what I was looking for!

Can anybody give me estimated times from YesAsia & DDDhouse with free/cheapest shipping option to the UK?

Well... I just got a confirmation email from GlobalEasySell.com saying my DVD has shipped.

Coincidentally, I also just received my first junk email in the form of a love letter scam from a hacked yahoo account in Malaysia. To be fair, IPmart.com and (to a lesser extent) Renchi.com could also be suspects for compromising my email address, and probably the rest of my personal information. This is why I only use Paypal, and I am going to buy identity insurance now.

According to this poster (Stephe (http://kungfucinema.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12783#6)), Masato Online Enterprises has the following three URLs: http://www.shiningo.com/, http://www.store.globaleasysell.com/, and http://www.moviesville.com/

If I had to wager, I might guess IPmart is most suspect because of their location... although I must say IPmart has great customer service, even calling me from overseas when an item was out-of-stock.

All I know is I've done much more business with other email accounts and never had junk mail with them.

I've never heard of them but the simple fact that they haven't responded to your e-mails should ring warning bells. At the very least this company will have poor customer service. Use them at your own risk.

I browsed around the site and found many links not working, no shopping cart system, and the contact information was not complete. It didn't look like you could even order with a credit card, no veri-sign logos anywhere, etc. I would NOT order from them, IMO.

This is an old thread I know but there needs to be an update of the companies still in business or new, reputable, companies out there for HK DVDs and what not. As people have already pointed out, Poker Industries and HKFlix are gone - I've found quite a few others cited here that are also not in operation anymore. Tai Seng has changed drastically and I don't even recognize the site anymore - but I admit I rarely bought from them given their high cost DVDs and shipping which was no day at the beach - although they were legit and honest. As a side note, I think this is a wonderful sticky and I've found some British sites I never about. Thank you to everyone that has contributed info on the HK DVD stores.

Many IVL`s are now out of print and very hard to get these days. Bidding sites like ebay can get you lucky but prepare to dig your pocket quite deep. Time to time some lucky fellows find treasures from 2nd hand stores, those are worth checking out regularly.

I have heads for sale on ivl oop but it`s available on thai release. Those are legal genuine items without slipcover or extras but movie is most important. I have ordered twice items from http://www.thaimegamart.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=01&Product_Code=UNDVD-8+8549660+09568&Category_Code=090250 and they are reliable company. 1st time shipping was superfast and 2nd time it took a while but they had trouble office was in flood area so understable.

Price of movies is very wallet friendly:bigsmile:

I've only used Poker Industries,HKFlix (both way back),Play-Asia and DDDHouse, mainly because they put the value on the customs form in US$...my local customs have trouble telling the difference between US$ and HK$!

Does anyone know which currency Yesasia uses on the customs form? ;)

Last 3 DVDs I bought online, had come loose in the case.
They played OK, but did leave some scratches, but dam I hate that, and I hate whoever designed DVD cases.
