Recently I was up late and caught an old Steve Reeves(?)/Hercules movie. I dont think that I ever caught the title of the film but the plot is that Hercules must rescue his woman and his friend falls in love with Neptune`s daughter. Anyways, there are a few scenes and visuals that seem to come right out of ZU. Mostly it was the background shots/lighting/colors and also some "flying ghosts/demons" scenes. This may be old news, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the Hercules movie/s was/were an influence on Tsui Hark and his making of ZU?
