I will be going to see the "Chun Yi – the legend of Kung Fu" show in London on Friday.

It's supposed to be a great show which combines kung fu artistry with dance and acrobatics (im obviously going for the kung fu part lol), it's the first time this show has come to the UK and there will only be 27 shows here.

It's choreographed by the same team who did the Beijing Olympics so you know it's going to be very good in the least. Their website has a few clips of the show and it looks pretty good: http://www.chunyi-kungfu.com/home/

I was wondering if anyone here has seen this show anywhere else in the world and what they thought of it? Or if they are planning to go to one sometime in the future?

I wanted to go but really don't have the money at the moment, please share your thoughts after the event.

Just came back from it and word to describe it would be brilliant.

It was like they described, a mixture of martial arts, acrobatics and dance. It was telling a story so each scene would be different, action scenes would obviously focus on martial arts, and other scenes focused on acrobatic dance. The display of martial arts gave me goosebumps everytime, it was real good. They displayed almost the full range of weaponry commonly used in kung fu and of course the wood and metal breaking with their body.
The most well received stuff was the kids performing the head flips and such.

All in all it was a SUPA show
