and then there are always some films where they used some hung kuen,some of the indie films with Lau Kar Yung (nephew of LKL) have some hung kuen too..
but not as much as LKL used it..

Hu Jian Qiang uses Hung Gar in Martial Arts of Shaolin, i think South Shaolin Master had some Hung Gar in it but i can't remember.

Good stuff. Will have to track Butcher Wing down. Interesting on the Iron M, saw that ages ago, just remember wirework, but you got me curious - local rental store has that, will have to rewatch. Will have to check them mainlands again.

I'm not an expert in Hung Gar, but I've read that the style Gordon Liu uses in the intro of 36th Chamber is Iron Wire, a form of Hung Gar. Fu Sheng uses that in the intro to Disciples of Shaolin. Doesn't that old school guy in Stephen Chow's Kung Fu Hustle, the one who puts on those rings, also use the Iron Wire style in that film? I seem to recall him also doing it in some 70s KF film too, maybe Snake In The Eagle's Shadow or one of those indie films.
