Please recommend me some classic and/or modern kung fu titles that have some nice pressure point kung fu in them. You know...the type of kung fu where they hit certain pressure points on the body, most of the time with their finger tips; sometimes briefly paralyzing them. I think it can also be called acupuncture kung fu. That stuff is hella cool!
I appreciate it.
Thanks.

Not a movie, but the ultimate pressure point martial art can be found in the anime series Hokuto No Ken aka Fist Of The North Star. There was a crap live action movie made but the original anime is a sublime piece of macho uber violence. Check it out, and if you like it PM me and I'll direct to where to find the whole series free.

Raiders of Wu tang (I don't know the actual name,) this has crazy horse boxing and with Buddah finger
sorry dude I am having brain freeze
Since someone else already brought up an anime, I'll mention that Avatar: The Last Airbender has a character, Ty Lee, who fights using pressure points. You see her use it off and on through the second and third seasons. No one explodes though.

A more updated choice would be "Fong Sai Yuk." In part two he and his mother use pressure point kung fu against the band of Japanese warriors on the river. It's very brief and rather comedic but it's there.
As an even more updated answer, Jet Li's character uses a similar practice in "Kiss of the Dragon." Granted, it's actually acupuncture but it still attacks the pressure points.

College Kickboxers aka Trained to Fight uses pressure point-fu. Tang Tak-Wing uses it to heal Ken McLeod then trains him to use the points to kill only in the worse case scenario.

Thanks for all the replies, fellas!
I have Invincible Armour, Ninja Hunter and Warriors Two already in my DVD collection. All three are super tight, by the way.
I'll have to check out this "Raiders of Wu Tang" you mentioned, butcher wing. Thanks, bro.
"College Kickboxers aka Trained to Fight" sounds interesting, AlbertV. I never heard of it. I'll see if I can find it on netflix or something. Thanks!
@ Drunken Monk: Yes. I forgot about Kiss of the Dragon, one of Jet's better recent pictures. Very cool use of acupuncture there.
As far as the anime recommendations go, Hokuto No Ken is my shit! I've been a fan for years on top of years. I know what's up. :xd:
I haven't gotten into Avatar much. But I did catch a few scenes on the cartoon network recently and I gotta admit; it's one BADASS cartoon. Think I'll start watching more of it.
