Bloody Ties (2006)

I watched this a few weeks ago on Sundance on Demand and this is one insane film. The film revolves around how the Korean economy has gone bad and Pusan has been really affected. As a result, the drug dealers have mostly taken control. A loud-mouth dealer is forced to become a snitch for the police's hard-boiled detective as they must take down the most feared drug king in Pusan, who was also responsible for killing the detective's partner years ago.

This film is insane from the very beginning...and I mean in a good crazy way. There are lots of comic relief, sex, action, just pure madness. Excellent performances from lead actors Ryu Seung-Beom (as the drug dealer) and Hwang Jeong-Min (the detective). :wink:

It's been a little while since I saw this one but I remember enjoying it. The Koreans are very good at making these kinds of movies.
