Need help with movie name

It's been bugging me for ages, there's this classic kung fu movie I saw wayback, and all I can remember is that the 'hero' practices on these wooden dolls with metal 'pins' or triangular metal bits on their chest. He practices pulling them out. In the end he uses this skill to pull these metal 'pins' from the 'bad' guys chest, a long squit of blood follow and ...the end

Anyways it sounds really vague, that's all I can remember...

has anyone seen this same movie, or knows the name of the movie?!

I think it's Fist(Clan) of the White Lotus 1980 Shaw Brothers with Gordon Liu as the "hero" & Lo Lieh as the bad guy?

On a side note, does anybody know if the print of this movie that they used to make the spoof "Kung Pow - Enter the Fist" exists? I'm sure they remastered the whole thing for Kung Pow, so why not ALSO release the original movie!?!
