Devil From Bottom Of The Sea was released in my neck of the woods during the ban on kung fu films. It served it's purpose. It was ok for that time but I can't tell if it would stand the test of time viewing it today but the movie did very well when released as it was entertaining.
"The Mysterious Snake Woman" I haven't seen but I've seen "Snake Girl Drops In" which is surprisingly very good.

The Dwarf Sorcerer reminds me of "Magic Super Child" another good film.It seems like the same kid.

Fantastic information Giles!!
The HKMDB estimates the date for Monster From The Sea as 1974, what do you reckon? Also, do you know what studio that symbol is from?
Also, would you happen to know the name of the production company that made Mysterious Snake Women and Dwarf Sorceror?

That Flyer of Young Prodigy together with Chinese Evil Technique are beyond rare, having never been featured in magazines or any official databases. Without one Taiwanese website containing info about 35mm prints coupled with supercollector Clive for actual VHS transfers of the films (now with us on DVD), I doubt we would have ever known about those.... unfortunately, no stills, posters or anything for either of those. Big ups to Clive; I thought about him yesterday after checking out a new DVD print of Disciples Of The Shaolin Temple, which I know he loves (who can blame him with mainland action of that degree).
These both look cool. Any serviceable prints out there?

These are MEGA RARE!!! however HKMDB have them both.....
FLYER OF A YOUNG PRODIGAL(They don't seem to realise the English name as yet...They have this title up as...
Xin An Ping Zhui Xiang Qu (1978)
http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=13738&display_set=eng
Chinese Evil Technique (1985)
http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=13626&display_set=eng
This one however was badly transfered from tape and has these bad VHS disturbances throughout the movie....I tried CLEANING THIS ONE Up....But not too much joy. If its coming from your crew in terms of VHS transfer to DVD try tracking the VHS before the burn mate or avoid using old VHS machines....so we can preserve these MEGA-RARE bits in the best mode...just my 2 pence.
I really need to visit Clive when I'm back in the UK and get a direct transfer from his tape as you mentioned he has this.....I noticed many MEGA -RARE bits on his DATABASE I still have.....I think he may have stop updating by now...
Flyer Of a Young Prodigal & Chinese Evil Technique I will upload screen shots when I get the time......They are already in the FLK database....

Someone on here obviously updated this title on HKMDB with the English title name (Xin An Ping Zhui Xiang Qu) 1978 to FLYER OF A YOUNG PRODIGAL......

Also it the person who updated....they should know that Chang Yi Tao (Korean origin) is also in this mystical kung fu mega -rare movie.

I think its definitely Taiwanese but its very strange to see Chang Yi Tao in this obscure mega-rare title...
