i read on HK Flix that their version says:
Video Asia DVDs are generally of very poor audio/video quality, as most are taken from VHS or equivalent sources. Some even have the wrong films on them. Their "anamorphic" releases are usually double-cropped--that is, they take a cropped full screen print and then crop off the top and bottom to make it look "widescreen", and then stretch it anamorphically, leaving you with about 25% of the original picture. We offer these disgraceful DVDs on a close-out basis only. We will not accept returns of any Video Asia DVDs for any reason--please buy at your own risk!
but this isnt true of all video asia discs... and then amazon has a VHS tape of Snake Strikes Back released by Ground Zero. Which one should i get?
Am i really going to get a crappy DVD if i go with the HK Flix movie? Has anyone gotten any bad Video Asia discs from HK Flix, and does anyone know if the quality is better on a ground zero distro?
