Twitch has reported that there are going to be many sequels ahead to some of the popular Korean films of the last decade or two.
ATTACK THE GAS STATION 2 - while the original hoodlums are not returning, actor Park Young-Gyu, who played the gas station owner, is coming back with Kim Sang-Jin returning to the helm.
VOLCANO HIGH 2 and MY SASSY GIRL 2 are in development it looks like.
There are more such as sequels to the dark comedy NO. 3, the teen slasher DEATH BELL, the comedy RED MUFFLER, LE GRAND CHEF, and more.
