I guess I over looked this documentary on the Shaw Brothers, does anyone on this forum have this disc? Is it worth getting?

This is not new. Previously available as 3 separate DVDs. The documentaries have been shown on Discovery channel before.

Wow! This looks like a re-release as these have been OOP for some time. Each episode is very well done and informative. Definately worth getting, especially for $16 USD! :smile:

These documentaries are also available as extras on some of the R4 Shaw DVDs from Siren.

I have this on DVD-R. I caught it on IFC and recorded it then as they were OOP so fast after original release. Definitely worth a blind buy, especially if you are hungry for anything Shaws. The features are divided into 3 parts, each exclusive to their subject.
The only thing wrong... It could have been far longer because there's still so much more information, and so many more stories to be told.
