Not looking for critiques (there's PLENTY wrong with it, but I'm mostly aware of the faults, and if not I at least have enough to work on for a while), so just try and enjoy the decent parts. This was originally supposed to be part of a longer short film, but we only got through one day of shooting before unexpected scheduling conflicts tore apart the production, so this is all that remains.

I enjoyed it, thanks for sharing, where are you located? Are you the one in black?

Yep, I'm the guy in black. I'd prefer to be behind the camera though, so I can focus on making sure everything goes well instead of my own performance. I'm in New York, and if anyone else in the area wants to get together to make something, I'm up for it. ::hint hint::

I just emailed a friend who is doing a film in NY about you, might be a good networking opportunity for everyone. I am in pre-production of a feature right now, which I'm soon to be looking for actors etc. This time, with the success I'm having with A Joker's Card (www.mdifilm.com/joker) we are going with a different POV. More Anime, darker story, more real martial arts stunts with wire-fu. ;)
More about Joker's Rapture a feature is at www.jrmorgenproductions.c...44340dc25e (http://www.jrmorgenproductions.com/portal/viewtopic.php?t=480&sid=ef486f2ed552abb11b6f8244340dc25e)
I was hoping you are closer by and can join us for a fun project ;)

Cool, thanks. What's your friend's name? And where are you located? Maybe I could get out there for a week or so and help out a little bit...
P.S. Also, let it be known that I'm rather dissatisfied with this fight, I'd have prefered longer takes, a better performance, and better camerawork, which I feel could have been accomplished if I were behind the scenes to focus on this instead of my own performance, so don't take this one as my standard. :)

I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. And no worries, I am looking at the clean cut techniques you used in this and the other films at ur site, I like them. :)
I can envision you to play one of the Chimeara character with a 15' long tail... ;)

"I can envision you to play one of the Chimeara character with a 15' long tail... ;) "
haha, uh, I'll assume that's a compliment. :) Yeah, unfortunately I don't have any friends or family in ohio that I could stay with, but I'll definitely look forward to hearing from your friend in New York if he wants to work with me.

Yeah, the guy who was doing all the tricks, Sebastian, is actually part of Team FS. Want to learn some tricks myself, but there's not as much opportunity for me during the school year.

FS, eh? They own.
FS-fanboyism aside, I must now comment on the "no time to trick" concept; here goes:
No time to trick? Hah! I have been tricking for two years (almost) and have NEVER had trouble finding the time. All it requires is a trip to the back yard or, in my case, the living room. With people from FS around, it won't be hard to gain some considerable skill (easier than it was for me, at least).
That all being said, got any more fight scenes floating around?

For the school year, I go to the Virginia Military Institute. Long story short, there's no martial arts schools or tricksters around, no space to trick that's open during our free time, and not much free time period (well, not enough to make significant improvement in tricks anyways). Trust me man, I'm trying pretty hard to practice tricking, but there's only so much I can do in this environment. :)
And the only fights I have are on the www.doubleedgemd.com (http://www.doubleedgemd.com) website, I think there are three others, but I'll tell you right now that they're rather old and not as good as the recent one. I'm hoping to do more over breaks and next summer though, so I'll post 'em here if I do.
