I posted a Super Sentai Series 2010 thread with rumored sketches and a few official photos. As this weekend marks the end of the Sentai series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, it is time to make the official announcement of the new Sentai series, Tensou Sentai Goseiger.

Plot:
The Goseigers are part of an elite angelic force known as the Gosei Angels. When an evil alien force called the WarStar destroys the passageway between the Gosei World and Earth, five of the Gosei Angels from different tribes must unite and become the Goseigers to stop WarStar and find a way to return home.

Tensou Sentai Goseiger premieres in Japan on February 14th (Tokyo time) at 7:30am on TV Asahi.

I started to see the series and it is looking pretty good so far. The new Goseigers are literally "angels" from the Gosei World. The enemy, known as the Warstar Empire, destroyed the path between Earth and the Gosei World.

Five members from the 3 Gosei Tribes (Skick, Landick, Seaick) have ended up on Earth and while they had a chance to go back to the Gosei World, they decide to stay on Earth to protect it from the Warstar. They befriend a young boy named Nozomu, who finds Alata's "Change Card" after he accidentally drops it. The five Rangers pose as astronomy students and stay with Nozomu and his crazy scientist father, yet only the boy knows of their true identities.

Skick members Alata and Eri are childhood friends who represent the sky in the forms of the Dragon (Red) and Phoenix (Pink). Landick members Agri and Moune are brother and sister who represent the land in the forms of the Snake (Black) and Tiger (Yellow). Hyde is the sole member of the Seaick tribe who represents the water in the form of the Shark (Blue).

I saw up to Episode 3 and in that episode, Moune attempts to prove to her big brother that she is capable of taking on the enemy, a Warstar monster who attempts to freeze the Earth. She is injured and is deemed reckless by her brother. However, Agri also learns that even though Landick tends to be stubborn, five heads are better than two and the brother-sister duo learn to be part of the Goseiger team.
