hi. first post. yay!!:D
im relatively new to collecting. did it for a few years about 10 years ago, then fell off. but i want to start up again. does anyone know a Mac's limitations with playing regional dvd's, if any? |

she, welcome to the site.
It doesn't matter whether you're talking about a Mac or a PC, standard DVD player software on either OS or Windows requires you to declare one region code and usually lets you only change it four or five times before it locks permanently. One solution is to install additional software that sidesteps your player's region coding system. For Windows, I use "DVD Region+CSS Free" from DVDIdle.com. I cannot recommend an OS package but I'm sure if you do a little searching you will find something. Hopefully, someone else here may have a recommendation for you. |

I'm a big fan of Slysoft AnyDvd, and I think they do offer mac compatibility version.
