I'm hoping Haye does it, but it's going to be one hard fought fight.

I know almost nothing about Valuev, and some say that until now he's not fought anyone of any real merit.

He's an absolute giant but Haye, I think, has him on speed and agility.

This is looking to be an interesting fight, one way or the other.

I watched the fight, but TBH, it was pretty boring. 1 big guy who was a bit too slow, and 1 fast flashy guy who was mostly hitting and running...

Haye won the fight, but can't say I cared much...

Boxing seems to be pretty boring these days, with no real stand-out characters worth watching, let alone any interesting rivalries.

I know what you mean, it was far from a sugar ray leonard exhibition , but that big motho makes anyone look rotten..glad haye got the nod and the 12th round brief explosion got me up doing the running man..haha!

I believe Haye can bring some excitemnt back to the heavies..

I'm in europe, so we don't get to see a lot of boxing on TV anyway. A lot of K1 though, which I usually like watching, although the last few years it's gotten a bit less interesting...

I guess I just miss the days where we had heavyweights that really looked impressive and like 'champs'...
Lennox Lewis kinda was one of the last ones that really looked like he might have given Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson etc etc a good run for their money, but Lennox was also a bit of a tit... ( I love how he tried to be 'flashy' for a second against that New York fighter, and got knocked out :D )
