I'm not sure who does the actual work. I did a brief search and didn't turn up a name but the cg is definitely there and very distracting. One never should attempt bloody cg effects. It goes against nature.

An obvious example of CGI in RAMBO is when he uses the mounted machine gun to blast the shit out of the soldiers. There's actually a lot of CGI blood in that movie. Didn't spoil it for me - but I'd have preferred old-fashioned blood bags.

AHh good example, i'll admit it was well done CGI. It would be interesting to see how it looked with the blood bags because they would need tons of them.

There has been a drastic change to the story according to Sly. This just in from Sly himself over at Stallonezone.
From Sly Hi Craig, This is from Sly to your followers:To all the loyal SZoners out there,Im letting you know that Rambo has changed course and the story about hunting the man/beast will be done using another character in the lead. RAMBO himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished .There will be blood. Best,Sly Stallone This is great news since it means that we should get two Stallonemovies - a new Rambo[back to the concept everyone seemed to dig] and what sounds like Hunterbased on the novel written specifically for Sly by James Byron Huggins.* It's no secret that I and many SZonershave been hoping that Sly would adapt the novel for the big screen. -Stallonezone Last edited by DragonSword; 11-12-2009 at 04:57 AM. |
