It's a good find, Mark, and certainly useful for anyone considering buying the BR disc.

The reason I didn't reply until now is I really disliked the film, and thought it a disjointed mess. The only real positive in my opinion was Pauline Suen showing some genuine acting chops.

Clarence Fok/Ford was the original director before Johnny Mak took over, and I think it suffers for that. At times if feels like it wants to be a serious Triad drama, at others a "Downtown Torpedoes" or "Mission Impossible" knock off. I'm basing my memories on seeing it in the cinema back when it was released. My memory may be sketchy. Perhaps it deserves a second chance.

I remember the film being quite good, but I haven't seen it in about 10 years though. I see that reviews are pretty mixed. Would be good if someone could post some matching DVD caps for a comparison. The BD caps look better than the version I used to own, but I wouldn't swear to it being true HD. I'm not an expert in that regard.
