Hello i was wondering if the smaller asian cinema nations have brought out any good action or horror films .

I.e SE asia, taiwan etc

Yes they have. For horror, check out the Thai films Shutter and Ghost of Mae Nak and the Filipino films Ouijia and Feng Shui.
