Ah. 'Orphan' is considered lost then? It must be out there in some form (even though we're talking a film that's almost 50 years old). Thank you for the correction.

Blu-ray, huh? That's pretty serious stuff. I know the saw shot was a big deal, but we need something to seal the deal... is there a screencap that you can post from one of the other scenes? Watermarked to the max, of course. Basically one of the written about extra scenes not present in the Mandarin trailer. Burning cart? Cheng's final arrival at the brothel before going in? Any other shots? We just need something to make us go "Damn... hope someone can find Orphan"

mark this guy, don't worry i don't mean offense but even if he did have it he seems to be the type to
show off that he does than make an actual trade for it. if by some very slim hairline chance he did have it, he would be contacting a legitimate distributor and sell it and make tons of money not come here on a forum and make a supposed trade for an equal value find nobody has, and repeatedly.

excuse me perhaps i missed it, i could not find where venomsfan actually said he was going to try and use it to unearth
more rare bruce lee footage from other elite collectors, you did bob. if im wrong tell me what page or pass the quote.
...and if he did you seem to be trying to drive the point more than i see that guy venomsfan doing lately!

in my opinion and seriously i don't mean offense i believe it is possible he has the uncut scenes, but if he does he does not
seem to really wanting other people to see any of it and so i agree most with what that guy mark said, he seems to care more
about himself than the work.

remember he still has not provided any real proof. when he said he did he posted two grainy screenshots seriously watermarked. why the hell would a person watermark the hell out of a grainy screenshot?

what's wrong with posting real screenshots even if he did have it. now he says he has it on beta max and blue ray?

What convention was this? The only convention / festival I know of in the 90's where a rare print of The Big Boss was shown was one in England which had the original rejected English dub but none of the missing scenes.

Hi friends,

"The Orphan" from `58 exists and is in very good shape and reels were transferred at the Hong-Kong Film Archives. The movie was even shown fully remastered a couple years ago through the HKFA. (as you can see in the links) Maybe it will be released on DVD anyway..

Wasn`t there only the festival by Kung-Fu Monthly in `79, too where several scenes were shown except this scene?..(mentioned in Jason Harts`article)

Peace

Well, the thread is about trading the saw in the head footage for some rare materials. He's asked for some very rare footage of Bruce Lee in return for footage of the saw in the head scene from Big Boss. It appears from his request that he is using the saw footage to acquire other rare clips. He's asked elite collectors by posting his trade requests for extremely rare materials. His first post should have the information you are looking for. I think it's pretty explicit.
