Terribly sad news.

I enjoyed many of his films, especially Crimson Tide and Man On Fire. Wasn't keen on Top Gun but I did enjoy the rarely mentioned Spy Game.

R.I.P. Tony. You made some great films.

I wonder how this will affect Ridley and Scott free productions. Ridley is, after all, 74. Who knows how long he will be around.

It's too bad it had to end like this....

I would also suggest giving The Fan a look. I can barely remember it but I remember enjoying it, so it must be at least decent.

Also I'd reccomend Spy Game if you like a little espionage, another one of his films that explored conscience, morality and patriotism.
