Please help me on this

I recently converted a movie from R3 into R1 by using DVD Shrink, however, I notice two things that are NOT right. (1) The 5.1 Ch. is missing ( I could tell by the surround sound on my tv). (2) the picture is not as clear as the original.

Could someone please tell me what to do next?

if you want a 1:1 copy then buy a duel layer blank disc.. sounds like you compressed a duel layer to a single layer
